Colorado lawmakers seek to limit group fueling growth in publicly funded homeschool enrichment

Colorado spends more per hour on homeschool students Colorado pays homeschool enrichment programs authorized by school districts, charter schools, or BOCES the part-time rate for each student. That's half the full-time student rate. But most homeschool enrichment students only attend classes for about six hours a week, about a quarter the time that full-time students attend.

Lawmakers are discussing the next course of action and when the arguments for or against the limitations or the cutting of funding will be brought to debate at the statehouse.
